After a small hint from co we had an epiphany and came up with solution. Thanks for the challenge. Drive by and then realised I was chasing wrong puzzle. Thanks for the cache

Tricky puzzle; we had a lot of fun figuring it out! Thanks for a great hunt!

I was finally able to find the container and sign the log but I'm still lost! This one had been giving me fits since shortly after I saw it published. I could never get a set of coordinates that even looked right based on all indications that the cache was in a tree near a place to park. Then last week I asked Barasaur for a clue and he gave me what would normally be a slam dunk but I had tried that method already. So I resorted to trial and error locating trees along roads and plugging those coordinates into the checker. Well much to my relief I finally got success. Today I took a drive north to see about logging the cache. Arriving at GZ I found a place to park and then began my inspection from the ground. That didn't turn anything up so I then headed up. It wasn't long before I found the container and had the log in hand. Signed the log and headed down (at least I'm pretty sure it was down!)
Thanks Bary, my head is still spinning from this one!!!

Needed the D/T combo offered here, so when EstesLynne got a huge hint for this cache & invited me along, I jumped at the chance. We got a big TOTT, and headed down Hwy 34 (4 days before it closes until June...) and then north for this cache. At GZ, that TOTT was a huge help in reaching for the container! Log sheet was damp, but ok. TFTC!

I needed some hints with this one. As with others, I'd tried to make it too hard. I needed this one for my Fizzy, though, and with highway 34 to Ft. Collins about to close for months, there was definite urgency on this one.
So, finally armed with the coordinates, Bug Ranger (who also needed a D2.5/T5) and I set off from Estes Park with a carful of TOTT. Good thing we brought the big thingamajig! Despite being prepared, it still wasn't a trivial move to actually lay hands on the cache. Finally we had cache in hand, though, and managed to get it back in place without major injury to either of us.
So, TFTC! It was fun and high value for both of us, and a lovely day out here. See you in a year or so, Ft. Collins!
