Most likely you will want to hike to this cache, ~3/4 mile from N 38 30.363 W 106 49.279 where it is best to leave your vehicle. If you can drive to this (it is on an obvious road) more power to ya. Otherwise it is a bit of a huff but well worth it. If you are out before May 15 when the gates open the hike is a bit longer ~1 mile.

Cache initially contains a visor (up to you if you want to bring another hat/visor to replace it with) and some other goodies. It is in a white, platstic container.

Awesome spot for a cache. Unfortunately I don't think it's still here. Drove my Dodge Ram all the way to the top. That was fun. Got some great pictures. Kids loved digging in the rocks. This spot needs a cache!! Maybe not on the "nipple" though. High traffic area for anyone who makes it up here. My guess is it was found by some 4x4 folks who hauled it off.

I intended to walk up to this one but the sun was almost down so I drove the Jeep up. That's a steep hill. Great views and very windy. Thanks!

We had a fun ride to the cache area. Our GeoCherokee took us right up to the cache.

Phew!! Only drove part of the way up the hill and then decided to hike the rest. Talk about a work out. I was wringing wet by the time I got to the top. Good thing there was a nice breeze blowing to dry me out. Great cache, you can see forever from up there. TNLNSL
