What a great view of chalk creek. Bring a beer and enjoy.
This Cache was my first hide, and I decided to move it from its orginal location due to popular demand...(My girlfriend :) and myself LOL.) The Cache is located off of County Road 292 NOT 162. I rated the difficulty a 3 due to the altitude and a short hike to the cache. This cache has a spectacular view of chalk creek/canon and it's a wonderful spot to sit and drink a beer, or to go fishing. This cache is an ammo can that contains assorted goodies. Feel free to decorate the bird house and I’ll check on it from time to time. Please leave the bird house....

Love it! The recent avalanche area on the short hike along 292 is a must see and imagining the power and force that was used to propel the trees and boulders way across the creek

Karen grew a pair and laid down to retrieve the cache. Kinda scary! Tftc and the gorgeous view. We brought a couple of cold ones per your suggestion!

Now I think this was the cache of the day. A bit off the beaten path, a nice short walk and spectacular scenery. Really enjoyed this one. Needs a favorite point.

Found it. I'm from Overland Park Kansas and I'm visiting my sister Carol Lester who lives in Alpine . I enjoyed meeting the cache owners and partying around the camp fire. Tftc
