This cache was placed in the memory of the two “Nifty Fifty” caches that where hidden near here. The first “Nifty Fifty was placed by e3brown for his fiftieth cache hide. Five waypoints, each one a little more difficult that the last. It was out there for about two years and a total of seven cachers were able to claim it as a find. Scavok adopted the cache and replaced the five waypoints with three new ones. Many cachers never found the first one, but it was the third and final that was truly evil. Only three cachers claimed a find. While looking for the two caches, the hours turned into days, the days turned into weeks and the weeks turned into months. I never found Scavok’s cache, but there are no regrets. Every minute spent here was thoroughly enjoyed, whether by myself or with the occasional cacher who showed up to hunt for the caches with me. I could have found hundreds of caches in the time that I spent looking for these two, but would any of them stood out or given me the memories that I have looking for these. I think not. So this is for e3 and Scavok and all of the good times spent here. Thanks for the caches.

Met up with @LostinDenver for dinner and then he had the "brilliant" idea of looking for this difficult cache in the dark and pending rain. Of course we agreed and off we went. Searched for a long time but no luck. Finally the rain arrived and we called an end to the search. We will be back !

Came out here with 2lablovers, who already gave this one a shot. Searched for about 35 minutes before wandering down the road to find another cache. Better luck there. On the loop back we tried again until the rain chased us away. Got another 10 minute attemp without luck. You whooped us today!

Out geocaching with LASouthpaw today, finding caches in the Commerce City area. We parked at various trail heads, wandered around a bit, and had some pretty good luck with finds, and only one DNF.
We searched all around for this one in the most obvious of places because of course, that's where you would start. Then we tried less obvious places. After scratching our heads for a while, we walked on to the next cache and both texted friends for help. With additional information in hand, we headed back to GZ for another look. Even so, it took us quite a while searching all over before we finally came up with the goods.
Thanks for this one, it was quite the find.

Oh. Mai. Gawsh. This was our most difficult find of the day. Oddly enough, we had an idea that was similar but not exactly what the cache turned out to be. We just weren't quite in the right spot. We did wind up using the TAF option to narrow things down. Even so, we searched for a bit before coming up with the goods. I was so happy to finally make the find here. Thanks for the challenge!

I haven't been out caching much, so I was super happy to be out and about with FayColSalTom today. We cached our way through some of the more industrial areas of town. We read ahead and brought some containers and logs just in case. I was prepared for a hard day, but we did much better than I expected. The weather was nice for us, as we were finishing up a cold wind whipped up. A sign it was time to head home, I guess. Thanks for the smiley!

Wow. That was a sneaky one. Targeted this area to get a string of caches for the day. TFTC BigSmile

Wow. Loneranger has lost count of the number of unsuccessful searches barking up the wrong tree over the past few years, during all seasons and a variety of weather conditions. Today, on a beautiful morning with unlimited time, a patient Silver, and an expanded perimeter, loneranger FINALLY had this devious cache in hand. The log sheet still has plenty of room! Thanks for placing this challenging hide in a great spot.

I gave the area a fairly thorough search, but I didn't come up with the container.

I found a live round at the cache site. I'm not sure if that was part of the cache but I didn't want to mess with it too much. Thank you for placing this cache and helping to keep our recreation going.

I found the container out in the open. Based on the difficulty, I'm not sure where it was. For now, it's at the base of the tree closest to GZ.

After some shopping at Bass Pro Shops on my day off from work, I decided to tote along my bike for some riding and caching afterwards. I rode about twelve miles and grabbed a dozen or so caches. Not too many muggles this afternoon, but definitely some shady people around here. TFTC!

Think we found something that might have looked like it but the container wasn't in the hiding spot
