Head up beautiful Poudre Canyon, and this cache is one mile west of Poudre Park...have fun!

This picnic site is located right along the Poudre Canyon highway and the Poudre River west of Poudre Park.  It has a restroom and two sites each with a table and grill.  There are stairways from the parking lot and picnic sites to the river.  Campfires are allowed in the fire ring or grate provided.  If you enjoy fishing, we suggest you bring your pole.  We've seen bighorn sheep across the river and dippers in it.  No hint needed on this cache.

This area has seen floods, forest fires, black bears, mountain lions, and rattlesnakes.  Remember your safety is your responsibility...and, Nature still bats last.

CONGRATULATIONS to Yogageek for the FTF!

Another lonely cache found today. I had looked for this one once before but didn’t DNF it because it was surrounded by muggles. Clever hide. Favorite point added. SL TFTC

It's becoming an annual tradition for me to take the day off from work and go geocaching on my birthday! I took a drive up Poudre Canyon and grabbed a few caches that we usually drive right past when we're heading up the canyon. No luck finding this one today....maybe next time.

We found the cache and the smell of marijuana, too. Thanks for the cache and the smiley. SL
