This cache is for you WWII buffs. It will take some research to solve. I have rated this cache with five stars because of the research involved.

Operation Kondor was a dismal failure. When it ended, it called into question the validity of the reputation of Field Marshall Erwin Rommel as a military tactical genius.
Your mission if you decide to accept it is to decipher the following:

RedV2 and I are working on my solved puzzle list. TFTC

20 minutes on the meter. A 490 ft walk. The race is on.

RedV2 and I made it to GZ, and the hunt began. We looked High and Low, all around. We searched an alternate nearby location to no avail. I went back to my original location and gave it another search. Then it happened. I saw a place that I hadn't thoroughly searched the first time.

EUREKA!!!! I had the container in hand. We signed the log and headed back to the cachmobile where there was 1 minute left on the meter. What an ordeal and laugh we had at that.

I did a local cache search before I came to Colorado Springs and looked for unique caches to seek while I am in town for business. I stumbled across this puzzle and I was immediately hooked! I did some online research based upon the write up and came across some information to help push me in the right direction. I proceeded to secure the item I needed to help me break the code and, once acquired, it took me all of 10 minutes to reveal the illusive coordinates.

Once at GZ I was able to locate the very secure container after a brief search.

Happy to sign my name to the log.

Favorite point for the very unique, fun, and educational puzzle

This was a pretty tough puzzle that I solved (with a little help from the CO!) prior to coming out to Colorado Springs from Chicago while on a family vacation. I struggled with this one mightily, but made a point to seek this one out because it was within walking distance from our hotel. Pretty much echoing what the previous (and day before...weird!) log says, this container isn't going anywhere. Great puzzle and a nice hide...Favorite! TFTC!

This cache would rank in my top 10 all time puzzle solutions and probably very high in that ten. The solution required research and some lateral logic, yet did not fall into one of those crazy "what am I thinking" puzzles. The research was relevant and incredibly interesting/fruitful. I solved several puzzles by this CO in preparation for my caching trip to Colorado but I believe this is the only one I made a point to find.
The final container is well hidden and was in good shape. Nothing is going to shake it loose!
This gets a blue ribbon from me. This was an extraordinarily well done puzzle. Thanks for keeping it going with so very few finds in 10 years. The folks that passed over this one know not what they missed!

Solved a little while back with some help, while I enjoy puzzles occasionally a little help is necessary. The cache was a little surprising, I over thought it again. Didn't think the good clean classic methods, more of something that required experience with similar styles. Appreciate the placement and the puzzle.

After 16 years of geocaching I finally decided to complete the fizzy challenge. I needed three combinations and decided to get them all today. The trip took me from Aurora, to Colorado Springs, to Manitou Springs, to Chatfield reservoir, and back home. This was one of the combinations I needed. I am puzzle cache challenged but decided to give this one a go in order to complete my fizzy. I enjoy history so this was a pleasure to solve. I did some research and was able to figure out how to decode the description. The "what" came pretty fast. The "how" took a bit of effort. It took me several attempts to get the correct item I needed. I contacted the owner in order to confirm my guesses. Once I had the final coordinates I took a mini-road trip in order to sign the log. There are lots of places a micro could be hidden but I scoured ground zero until I was able to make the find. A favorite point for me. Thank you for creating this challenging cache and helping to keep our recreation going.
