Great hide on the Barbara Whipple Hiking Trail!

This cache is probably better done in the early morning - it gets a little warm in the afternoon.  This is a great hiking and a mountain bike trail.  Be sure to look west as you will have terrific views as you look back and down at the Arkansas Valley and the Town of Buena Vista. You'll cross the Arkansas River on the pedestrian bridge as you head up the Barbara Whipple Trail System on the Arkansas River's east side. This trail is the town's most popular hike with great Collegiate Peaks views. A hike here combines well with nearby cycling and boating and connects to the 19-mi Midland Bike Trail.

Our 7th find of the day. This was another quick find. We had a great hike along the Whipple and Midland trails today. The rain showers were moving across the valley, so we were hustling down off the hillside, with a couple of cache detours of course. Many thanks.
