This micro is located next to the benchmark at the summit of Copper mountain.
This cache is accessable in the winter if you buy a lift ticket and ride the Poma lift as high as it will go. From there you will still have a short hike to the top. There is only one way back down and it is on a double black run. Please bring your special tools (snow board) to get the job done. The wind blows so much that there should not be any snow covering the cache.

Hiked up this afternoon. Spent some thorough time looking - covered all the suggestions made by the hint. No luck this time. Thanks for the hide.

Bummer. Access was closed today, I asked the lift operator at the top if I could leave my skis and hike up, but he didn't think ski patrol woould like that. Will have to wait until next year to try it when there's more snow or maybe access on weekends.

I figured I wouldn't ever have a better opportunity to find this cache; The sky was clear and the wind was (mostly) still. Once I spotted the partially mangled benchmark, the rest was easy. Thanks for this placement. The views were superb.

We wanted this one. We really did. We hiked all the way to the top but we were stopped 120' from the goods. The sign said we would be subject to a fine up to $1000 for ducking the rope so we took a photo and kept moving.

I can't in good faith call this one a DNF since we never actually searched for it. Maybe next time.
