Stone Cabin is a historical landmark in Chaffee County and is an access point to the Arkansas River.

The Stone Cabin cache is located in the area of this historical area landmark. This area is also a place that delectable Morel Mushrooms have been found. Of course, be careful when mushroom gathering but if you find out what you have, you could be in for a real treat. Getting to the stone cabin can be a bit of a bumpy ride too. It is best to not take your Lotus automobile back here. While it is accessible by car it can be a bit rough and narrow. There are many camping Muggles in the area.

Parked at the entrance from Highway 24 and hiked over. Cache spot is a little ways away from the stone cabin which is worth a visit. Thanks for the cache!
