Out skiing on what will likely be my last day for the season. For spring conditions, it was a pretty good day. The afternoon got a little cloudy, but kept the snow from getting slushy.

This was one of two caches that eluded me for most of the season. It seemed like every time I came by to look for this one, there were plenty of muggles around, and one day there was a private party up here. Today there were a few muggles that were getting ready to leave, but by the time they skied off, a Loveland ski employee came by to clean the place. So, I skied for a little bit longer and came back at the end of the day and the place was deserted. It was probably a good thing I had the place to myself, because when I looked in spot number one, I lost my balance and stepped into a bottomless pit of snow and managed to pick up some splinters on the way down - if anyone looks for the cache later this season, they’ll probably see the hole I made in the snow! After that I decided to try searching area number two and quickly found the geocache without any further misadventures. The edge of the cache container is cracked, but it’s hanging in there and the log was dry. Thanks for hiding this one!

Found at 3 PM, Find number 978, added a picture.

Today I hit the slopes with @intrepiidexplorer and @windatmyback. While we rolled around, we made this find. Easy enough once we were in the right spot. Tftc!

Was an easy find after reading previous logs that the gz is off, then it was easy to push up but hard to pull down. Put a new log in as well. TFTC
