I found this spot a few weeks ago and the crumbling structure near by caught my eye. I'm curious about it.

What is it? Why was it built? What what it used for?

This is a fun quick hike, enjoy the scenery! Please be careful of cactus and possible wildlife.

From the parking lot go straight until you come to the gate that says public land. Once you get there take Water Gap Trail.

I was hiking in this area and remembered there was a cache here. It's still well hidden but easy to find. The inside was pretty wet so I spread everything out in the sun and let it dry. I tried to place it back so it wasn't stuck down in the mud. This cache hasn't been found in a year. It should be good to go for a while longer.
