This is my dads place! Looking north you have "open spaces" for publics use. This area is one of the last few where people are fighting for land grants rights in the court systems. The mountains to the south east and east were once given by the government as grants to families some were supposed to be used as we would a public park these days within time and paper work the people of the area lost access to these mountains. But enjoy the view I miss my mountains!!!

I have rented a campervan for 24 days to go geocaching and exploring around the western part of the US, starting in Denver, Colorado.

Today I had to skip an extra day in Santa Fe and just drive up to Colorado Springs to get to the Paul Barclay Stash geocache in time before dark, and before the big snowfall that is expected tomorrow. I did take my time to stop and find a geocache in each county on the way up there though.
