We love taking short family hikes here on the north end of the state park. We often park at the end of Greenbrier Drive in Pueblo West to access this area but cachers can also access the area by paying the state park fee. The cache is located over half a mile from the end of Greenbier Drive and there is a gain in elevation. Terrain varies based upon parking and is easiest from the state park but this access is just a bit further.

Nice hide & walk. Wish I had my horse. Good size cache for a TB or two but I left mine in the car.

Nice hike to this one on this chilly fall morning. Spotted it right away once we got close. Stamped the log and we're off to the next one. [8d][8d] SL TFTC

FTF! with nite_raven at 7:30pm. Saw this publish right as we got home from house painting all afternoon on top of work in the morning. Funny how complaining about ladders making your feet hurt goes away once a geo hike is in order. We parked at the end of the street as suggested and made the small hike in. The lot now has a sign stating Authorized Only and No Public Access. Not sure if it is for parking or the service road. The sun was setting as we walked in and we thought for sure we'd be searching by flashlight. But we managed to get it found and be back at the truck right at dark. Spotted a very fitting UFO cloud over the mountains. I like the camo and the log buddy. I like the hide holder too, very cool. We enjoyed the sunset from the trail near GZ until all the coyotes started howling fairly close. Thanks for the fun, new cache.
