Short hike off a bike path.
After finding the cache, hike a short distance to the top for a great view of historic Georgetown. Look the other way for another view of the Georgetown Loop Railroad bridge and creek. Access from parking area at Georgetown Loop Railroad depot parking area. It is a little ways off the nice bike path that goes from Georgetown to Silver Plume. Do not try and access from I-70. Cache is flat 8” diameter camouflaged Tupperware container. Don't let kids get too close to the clif edge.

2018 has been a great Geocaching year. I’ve already found caches in 3 countries, have a streak over 800 Days, and recently finished my 7th Fizzy loop! We attended Giga at GeoWoodstock in Cincinnati. I passed 732 days (2 years) on my streak and we found 600 puzzle caches in one day! (888 total caches!) (The BLT trail bordering SD and MN). Oh, and I got engaged, ran my first marathon (got an FTF during it!) and placed a huge GeoArt called Fick’s Fizzy (GC6JB48) which includes all 81 D/T combos in puzzle caches! I’m also releasing my own card game called Tangled, if you’re interested, message me!

Everything Below is a generic disclaimer I (shamelessly) put in to admittedly add log length to my logs for a challenge requiring longer log averages.

A huge thank you from myself for all you've done for the geocaching community. Whether a brand new cacher, or a seasoned veteran, geocaching continues to be fun for me because of caches like yours that you took the time to make, the time to hide, and the time to maintain. I hope you continue geocaching as often as you can, I hope to see you at future events and most importantly, I hope you continue to help this amazing game grow by hiding future caches and maintaining your old ones!

If you would like to check me out or follow me on social media, I'm found on all sites as SoDakZak (YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter) and I'm also a frequent contributor to the Geocache Talk podcast on iTunes and YouTube. Hope you enjoy my scenic photos, daring videos and discussions over audio I have! If you could, subscribe to my YouTube page at www.YouTube.com/SoDakZak and drop a comment on the cache you found my show on!

Please feel free to message me any time you want and have an amazing day!

All the Best,
-SoDakZak

In town today for a NEEDTOBREATHE concert at Red Rocks. Took my mom for her birthday, and we headed out this way for the Georgetown Loop RR on a perfect day. Stopped for a few caches along the way, and this was our fifth one as we got there a bit early. Great views! Dropped a geo coin.

No problem with this cache. It's a really good hiding spot. Ladybuglooking and I have had a full day. We started by climbing up to the Griffim Memorial. Then we took the Georgetown Loop train. Then we had ice cream. Now we found one geocache for the day. Not our best day but we couldn't leave Georgetown without finding at least one. It's now getting late and we have to head back to Denver. Thanks for the regular hide.
