Visiting from Florida. I was hoping this one was working again. I will be back in a few months when my daughter gets married.

We've been watching this one since mid June hoping it would be active when we arrived in Boulder. Unfortunately it didn't happen. Kind of bummed we couldn't get this one.

The webcam is down. I will enable once it's working.

We were visiting from California and staying in Colorado Springs. We always seek out webcams when we can because they are so scarce. So when we saw the log from Glenn saying it was active again, and then another log from henne165 saying they found it. we were hopeful. Then the clincher was the log from Barrett66 on the 13th saying he found it. So we said lets make the drive, and we did! We got here and found the webcam about 300 feet from where we parked at GZ. Excitedly we sat in the appropriate spot and proceeded to try to access the camera from our phones. But no matter what we did, it just wasn't happening. Very bummed we snapped our own pictures and left with our heads hung low and prepared ourselves the the two hour drive back with nothing to show for it. Not sure if we'll ever get out this way again, but thanks for keeping it alive!

Woohoo!!! I had logged this one back in April but the cam was down so I had to change that to a note instead. Came back last month but the cam was down yet again. I’m back for a 3rd time (luckily I keep getting sent back here for work) this week and after driving up to Cheyenne this afternoon for the webcam up there (I need one hidden in 2002 or earlier for a challenge back home in MN) I was grabbing a few others on my to find list and saw that this one was active again!! I was absolutely NOT going to wait a minute longer than I had to in case the cam went down again so I made the detour over and grabbed my picture!
A big thanks for the CO keeping this one alive. I’ve read through a few logs in this cache as well as some of the other hidden webcams by this CO and it looks like owning a webcam cache is a great way to get a lot of unwanted flack. It certainly doesn’t look like fun. But today after all the waiting and 3 trips to Denver I can finally get my smiley here. So thank you very much for all you do! TFTC!!!

The camera is back online. Thanks to billkat for the heads up.
Please remember to follow geocaching policy when logging this cache so that it can stay active and so that other geocaches can enjoy this cache too!

As soon as I saw it was up I drove up from Pueblo to get this. I’m sitting and my sister is standing next to me. Tftc!

As suggested by nvlyga I've increased the difficulty rating on this webcam cache due to the current spotty nature of the cameras up time.
The camera owner does not intend to permanently remove the camera at this time and usually repairs the camera within a reasonable amount of time. However, if it stretches in to an unreasonable about of time I will make preparations for archival. Once archived webcam caches being a grandfathered cache type are NOT eligible for relisting or being archived.
Please log appropriately and follow the Guidelines.

Anyone who has been geocaching for some time should know that "alternative" photos on webcam caches are not allowed as per the Geocaching Guidelines. No matter what your excuse is a DNF is a DNF; whether it is a webcam, traditional, multi or and other cache type. Thanks for following the rules.

I did read the web page, contrary to the CO's assumption. However after traveling all the way from Indiana, waiting nearly an hour (consisting of two trips to the area) in 90+ degree heat, and the webcam never refreshing, we chose to do the best we could by taking a photo of us with the camera and also in the spot where the camera would have taken the photo. Although I appreciate the CO's authority to delete our log, I want to clear up the assumption that we did not pay attention to the rules of this cache find... yes, we took alternative photos, but we also could not "try again later" as we do not live in the area and have no plans to return. And I realize the CO will likely delete this note also. But I felt obligated to give our side of the story since we have been caching since 2003 and are well aware of how this whole thing works.

Temporarily disabling this webcam cache until the camera is back online. Apparently few people read the geocaching guidelines or even the cache page. The purpose of a webcam cache is to use the webcam to get a photo of yourself. It is NOT to take a photo of the webcam or even take a photo of yourself near the webcam.
If you notice that the webcam is back online before I notice it please feel free to the make a PROPER log entry and message me.
Thanks to everyone for following the rules!

I deleted many logs that didn't confirm to the Geocaching guidelines. Specifically the guidelines on logging webcam caches that can be found at https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=127&pgid=821
