WOO-HOO! STF! In the immortal words of Ricky Bobby "If you ain't first, you're last! Second place is the first loser!" We are still unsure if this is a Tribute cache to yours truly, or a legendary Trolling by Mr. Kitt5! My kids who were absolutely rolling on the ground laughing when this first published believe it to be the latter! It's funny, this happens to be one of my favorite places on Clear Creek to fish, so it's fitting there's a cache here now. I was able to park at N39 44.685 W105 29.110 which is dirt road off of the nearby frontage road and is less than 400 feet from GZ (No need to park off of I-70). The published coordinates are still inaccurate so make sure you read the Cache Owner maintenance log with the updated coords. 4/5th's of Team Geodog was assembled to find this on Sunday right after it dropped but....ahem....the coords were a wee bit off! I wasn't able to grab the FTF after they were updated due to the AV's game and NCAA Championship game being played last night. Of course LID made it here before me and was kind enough to reach out for a CO-FTF, but I couldn't make it. Anywho, I was happy to have a hint about a rock nearby GZ with a bunch of glass on it, and after about 10 minutes I was able to locate the cache. The coords are definitely still a bit off (40 +feet) but it is doable, even for a RANK DOLT like me who needs every little bit of help he can get!! The cache resides below the high water line, so hopefully it doesn't wash away. I signed my name, and then conducted a half hour of CITO'ing nearby which made me eligible for the 2021 Locationless Cache! After collecting a lot of garbage out of the water and along the bank I rewarded myself with a half hour of fly fishing. I managed to catch and release 4 nice Brown Trout on a dry fly! Thanks Kitt5 for another new hide, please keep em coming! Favorite is awarded for the Tribute/Trolling,
L-O-L!! Grabbed the TB and will move along, SL, TFTC!

[FTF] 04-05-2021 at 7:45 pm. We came up here in a last ditch effort to get an FTF today. We saw that the CO put a note in the cache about the updated coords. So we gave it a shot. We might not have parked in the best place, but a short walk got us to the right place. Coords were a little bouncy, but not that bad. After some serious searching with our flashlights bordering on burn out, we made the find. Wish we could have shared the FTF with GeoDog, but we couldn't reach him. Next time. Left the TB for the next finder.
Today was crazy. We started off going west in search of an FTF. Problem is someone found it before we even left the house. But I didn't update my list, so I didn't know. We made it to the area, found a few caches and headed back home, knowing that I still needed an FTF. After babysitting for a few hours we headed north and grabbed several great caches outside of Henderson. Then, that evening I checked one last time for a possible FTF. There is one near Idaho Springs.... so off we went. Lots of driving, but a great geocaching day!
Thanks for the cache!

Lots of signal bounce. New coords 39° 44.742N 105° 29.145W. Gave more of a hint because SOME cachers want to know just where to look.

Umm not sure about this one, it’s supposed to be so easy that even a Dolt like me can find it! Came up to Idaho Springs to enjoy the day and hopefully claim a FTF. Sadly it appears the coords lead to the top of a steep cliff that the family wasn’t too excited about. Hard to believe this is a T/2?? The parking coords are the same for the final up on the mountain?? I’ll keep an eye on it!
