Thanks for another Star Battle puzzle. If you keep putting these out, then I'll have to work out how to solve them better. At the moment I'm using "guess and check", after some logic at the start. Quickly found the container. Cheers.

This was a new type of puzzle for us, having not seen the CO's first Battle Star puzzle cache. We thought it looked like a lot of fun. We read the instructions and proceeded to solve the puzzle. We were confused when we came up with four viable solutions, none of which satisfied the checker. We reached out to the CO with a snapshot of one of our solutions. He graciously, quickly pointed out our error. We can blame it on it being late at night or our eagerness to solve a new type puzzle, but we carelessly focused on columms and rows and errantly forgot to focus on the regions. Using the correct solving method, the solution came quickly. Off to bed having received a green light!

This morning we noticed that the cache had not yet been found, so gampa decided to make his daily morning walk in this beautiful open space as the sun was coming up. The coords were very accurate so the find was quick and easy. Signed the blank log and replaced everything as found. Thanks for the fun puzzle cache - earns a favorite point for us for teaching us how to solve a new type of puzzle.
