The hike to this cache is off-trail/road for a few hundred feet. MileHighFamily hopes you enjoy the adventure.
This is a nice little hike from either direction. Beware of many onlookers from the surrounding houses. Dogs-in-the-Hood will likely also announce your arrival in the Valley of Muggles. The container is a camo-painted metal beer keg lookin' thing that's about 3 inches in diameter and 5 inches tall. Our little pooch of a TB, "Sparky" 489FD3, destined to travel the country in search of adventure, is the cache's original occupant. Congratulations to a prolific area cacher, Prescottazbob, for FTF! He's UNSTOPPABLE!

Stopped on my way down from Wyoming to Colorado Springs to find this cache just prior to sundown today. Parked and walked in despite the new snow and squishy conditions. No deer in this draw tonight, but I spotted them near another neighborhood to the North. No dogs out as well since the temperature was near freezing. Had to dig in the snow for the cache, but found it quickly and picked up a trackable, dropping another one I grabbed at an event in New Mexico a few days ago.
Fun hide, great container and location. Thank for the excellent cache. Favorite point added.
I enjoyed the views West after sunset on a pretty night.

What a prickly adventure to get here. Glad there was a pencil. I realized as I finally approached that I left pen in car. Saw the deer and left TB. Second to last ray needed for 360 degree challenge. TFTC

Very interesting area! Came at this from the creek bed. Quite some nasty thorns that way but nothing like when I lived in Houston. Signed the log. All is in good shape. Thanks!

Wow, did I take the wrong route! Came from the northwest, through the creek, then up through brambles. Found a better one on the way out. Northeast with a gap in bushes roughly about 39 29.458 104 54.887.
Whew!
Did some CITO, dropped a TB, added swag.

Hiked down from the uphill direction without too much difficulty on a cold morning. No dogs out today. A good cache spot. TFTC
