Muffer Man

The term "Muffler Man" has been given to a series of roadside giants that were produced in California.  Their original purpose was to advertise establishments that perform work on auto and truck exhaust systems: hence the term "Muffler Man" since their production started in the 1960s, these giants have been used for many other purposes, generally advertising.   He used to hold a muffler in his hands. 

Park on the shoulder of the road so not to bother Bob's Auto.

Found this one. Even tho it was a bit busy with the semi's being checked out. Grand daughter said she use to be afraid of this guy when younger, and said he is still freaky. But to give her credit she found this one first. Left a "Monster" to watch over the cache. Took nothing. Thanks.
