A short walk through history will bring thoughts of yesterday and today. Plan a camping trip or picnic around this one, as there is a wonderful facility nearby. Bring the kids, but as with any trip to the grasslands, be mindful of critters, especially in warmer weather. This cache is a log only, so bring your geo-pen.

We decided to head up to Wyoming for some caching today. Needed the icon for Wyoming anyway and this is a good chance to get it. We are visiting our Son and Grandsons in Lakewood CO. Cheyenne only about 1.5 hour drive away. Found lots of interesting caches today including some virtuals and also encountered a run of caches, to add to our numbers. All well at this cache and thanks for the new smiley. Hello from OKC.

Working the area power trails to knock out the Mystical Creatures quest. This is a cut and paste due to the need for speed. If there are any issues, they will be added. Thank you for the placement!
I always stop for cemetery hides. Paid my respects after finding the hide and continued on

It is a good day for geocaching even if it is in January. The wind is not blowing and it's partly cloudy and the temperature is getting close to 30 degrees. I am on my way to Sterling taking the Less traveled path from Greeley to get there. I like stopping at these small country cemeteries and to walk amongst the memorials and try and determine what nationality settled the area. I didn't spend much time today though because I'm in kind of a hurry and snow covered quite a bit of the area.

Spent the day looking for geocaches in the grasslands. Replaced some containers and logsheets. As usual, a very windy day making it a challenge to keep logsheets from blowing away. SL, thanks for all the placements.
