There were deep snowdrifts en route to the cache, but it was a beautiful day in the mid 50s. Very nice for the beginning of January. Thanks for the puzzle and the hide.

Awesome view, and for free! my GPSr was off a little but the hint took me to it. Signed the log and left a tiny fossil tooth.

For whatever reason this band never appealed to me much. This one took me a while to spot. The GPS wouldn't settle down. It would have been a lot faster if I had just read and followed the hint. On the way back to the truck I stopped to look into the Gorge for a while, and while sitting there an eagle soared by BELOW me. How totally awesome! I'm not sure if it was a golden eagle or a young bald eagle. Unfortunately I left my camera at the house and couldn't get my phone out of my pocket fast enough to get a shot. Darn! But what a great location this is. Thank you!
