The cache is not at the listed coordinates but it is one place to park. Solve the puzzle to find the cache. Expect a significant hike. Update: Approach the cache from Schubarth Road, then either Rd 311 or Rd 313.

Remember the Children's story about three animals balancing apples on their heads? Here's a little variation (with extraneous intermediate steps removed):

I've been wanting to get the caches on this trail since last summer. Longer than that for this particular cache. I think it's been on my solved list since I moved away from the Springs in 2015. Lemonhead mafia and I made the short trek to the final. Some deeper drifts but overall very little snow. Sl, thanks!

The Tapedero parking spot is not only posted with many large signs about not entering Academy property , "live fire range", video surveillance, patrolled, etc, in addition to the older barb wire fencing there is a chain link fence across the entry point. Private property adjacent. Guess I'll have to get a proper vehicle and come at it from the west.

I looked at this puzzle many time before I finally figured out how I could use my math skills or lack thereof to complete the puzzle. Today was my day to find the cache. Thanks for the puzzle!

I visited the cache today and found that it's still in great shape and awaiting visitors. This area is now open again following the Waldo Canyon Fire.

Was able to find our way Up On Top, but not without help. Kicking myself for being so close and yet so far away on cracking this one.

Estes01 and I were up here working on Falcon Challenge. I had a feeling we might get close to this one while we were in the area so I was sure to have the solution with me(It was nice to have an easy one for a change). It worked out great and we were able stop by on the way. I traded out TBs. TFTC
