This cache was placed in celebration of what I consider the best month of the year.

As I passed this rock, I couldn't help but notice the resemblance to a rabbit. I placed it on the last day of March - a beautiful, warm day. As you pass, you may be lured into afternoon tea with the Hare and the Hatter. If you are, don't run, don't crouch or kneel. Open your jacket to look bigger. Pick up kids so they don't run. Face the Hare, be gracious, and accept the tea and crumpet he will invariably give to you.

With a 4WD high-clearance vehicle, you will ordinarily be able to park at a small pullout at a trailhead on Forest Road 307A about 1/3 mile from the cache (see Additional Waypoints). In snowy weather or if your vehicle can't navigate 307A, pull off near the intersection of Rd 307 (Schubarth) and 307A - about a mile from the trailhead.

I had a day off work so I went for a hike. Fun area. Walked right past the cache at first. After reading previous logs I realized where I needed to look. Tftc!

Like the last cachers I found 307A to be better than 307 too & I was able to get to the trailhead in my Santa Fe very easy. It was a pleasant hike and while I was there my red heeler decided to climb straight up the big boulder just to the left of the Hare rock in the picture. I heard nails scratching and looked over & there he was so proud of himself. I don't know when he decided to become a mountain goat. I was looking in the wrong places for the cache until I read the last log which made it a quick find right at GZ.

I made my way back here to today to find the 3 caches in this area. I actually thought that 307a was a better road than Schubarth Trail. I parked at the suggested parking spot and walked down the ridge to this cache. The tree holding the cache is in very sad shape. Hopefully it lives. TFTC.

Well, what a small geo-world it is ! We met up with cachers mmelivlle6 at the 4WD parking spot, and found that they had gone left and got smileys for both the Mad March Hare and Rainbow Rocks, while we had gone right and placed a replacement container on The Skidder. Then, we switched hikes and did the vice versa ! Wacky. Anyway, it was very nice to meet other cachers out on the trail. And, while at the Mad March Hare, we stamped the log, and in honor of the CO, who has been sighted driving a Red Jeep, we dropped off a nice trackble -- a Red Jeep BigSmile And, since there wasn't any swag at all in the container, we dropped off something picked up on a recent business trip to Winnipeg -- a Toonie ToungeOut Photo attached. Stamped the log, and continued on down the faint trail to Rainbow Rocks. TFTC !!!
