Look for the little crock between the peaceful South Platte River and Denver Seminary just off the paved Mary Carter Trail.This is our first hide. Hope you enjoy looking for this little crock as much as we did hiding it!  Muggle alert depending on day of the week or time of day!

I’ve always wanted to do these caches along the trail. Today was the day! I decided to work remotely today and so during my lunch break I headed farther up the trail.

This was the last find of the afternoon. And probably the most interesting. As I approached GZ there was a group of six college aged muggles at the crossroads just hanging out and talking. And a woman sitting on the bench just feet from GZ. So I kept walking. I went about 100 feet and then saw the woman was leaving the bench. But there was another group approaching me from down the trail a couple hundred feet. So I did the old “stop, check my watch, stretch and head back the way I came” trick. Like yeah I intended to walk just a little farther before I circled back!

Once I got to GZ I pulled the tie your shoe trick. A classic. In between shoes I made the grab. After the second shoe I grabbed the container and sat down to sign and write my log. Thankfully the first group left and I had a window to make the replacement. Wow muggles galore on a Thursday afternoon!! But I’m glad I got it. Thanks for the adventure. Hopefully no one drops the container!
