Park at the upper Glenwood Canyon trailhead which is accessible from the frontage road North of I-70, exit at Dotsero. From the trailhead, hike North and follow the trail up.
The cache site is located about one and a half miles up this wide trail, take the left fork when offered. The trail has ups and downs, more ups, but is not too difficult for the average cacher.

The views of the Canyon and the Colorado River (far below) are available throughout the hike, expect to spend a little extra time sightseeing.

The container has a log only and should be easy to spot if you refer to the cache name, although, it has been painted to blend in. Open the container in the same way you would normally open one of these.

Congrats to acwentz and Chessie on the First to Find!

Sorry for the late log. I found so many caches this fall I did not keep up with my logging so now that the weather is not so outdoor friendly I am catching up. We were in GS for an anniversary trip. We had planned to ride bikes in the canyon yesterday, but snowy, cold weather forced us to post pone the trip so we decided to go geocaching. The van shuttle did run today so we are off but hiked to these caches first. My GPS was running me around the area as my husband enjoyed the view. We both had a chuckle when I found the cache. I would like to try riding my horse up here sometime, but it is a long ways from home.
