We loved doing this letterbox! We are embarrassed to admit that the final stage took us several stops and starts and the better part of an hour (most of which was in the spitting rain), but we persevered and found that what we kept missing to solve the final "key." We twice walked the length of the trail, inspected the bridge, checked the bushes, trees, poles, wires, barbed wire and scoured the ground, but it wasn't until we had returned to the car, ready to submit a DNF, did we have that "aha!" moment after rereading the description for the third time. Once we walked back to the GZ for the second time we had the final and missing component in hand within minutes. Great clue, but rather obscure. Difficulty rating could be notched up a little IMHO. Disappointed to find so little swag inside after all the time we spent working on the hide. I guess we had subconsciously expected a big finale, LOL. SL (we had forgotten our ghost stamp) and left a scorpion. T4TF! Favorite point awarded.

Just logged as a DNF. We were headed back when I figured it out. TFTC! My kids were ready to give up, it was starting to rain, but the sense of accomplishment when we got it is worth it. TFTC from team JASI.

So fun! I needed one today to keep my streak alive. So I stopped by and found this one. And found it easily but was not able to access it. Hmmm. I searched a bit to no avail. Ok fine. Let that one be and move on up the hill to another. During the ascent, I realized what I was missing. It's hiding in plain sight! I always like that. So I trekked back down to make the grab. Easy to do with everything in hand. I lvoe field puzzles, especially when you just think it through. I somehow matched the effort to the difficulty to the cache. Usually I waaay over do it!
Cache is in great shape. Thanks for placing this one! Excellent hybrid! The log book showed last signed in 2017 but maybe the last cacher just stamped and moved on. Regardless, cool cache!

I’ve been wanting to do this one for quite awhile and had some extra time today. Needed a hint from the CO but it was good to know I was thinking along the right lines, just the wrong place. Thanks for placing this cache for me to find. TFTC.

The key to success here is not to be a dumbass. I was afflicted with that for a while before light bulb went off.

Cool letterbox! I appreciated the good descriptions of where to look because my pedometer app was giving me all sorts of bad numbers as far as my distance! This cache may need a little maintenance... The sticky portion ( if you know what I mean) is not going to stick much longer. Thank you for placing this! The goal for today is to get eight different cache types so I qualify for a challenge tomorrow.

Cool cache! I sat at the end of the street in my car for ages waiting for the rain to quit... finally checked wx radar on the phone & gave up. By the time I drove out to the big boulevard an obvious end to to the rain was sliding in from the mountains, so I made the return & hike to success!!

Headed to Colorado Springs to watch CCU play UCCS Softball games. Picked out some caches to claim along the way. TFTC and fun.

We were grabbing a few traditional caches in the area and wanted to add this letterbox as well. Clever hide. SL Thanks!

Had a free night and after enjoying a libation and dinner I decided to go and pick up a cache or two that I don't normally have time for. This was a good one to enjoy a nice little walk on; get there (I parked on the other side of the street of course) and then a little land navigation (not to much though); I've always enjoyed land navigation puzzles because they make you pay a little attention. GZ was fun and cute because of the need to remember the name (nicely done sir, very nicely done). The only disappointment I had was not all the names were there that I expected but then I also wasn't surprised (pohka's see many things that people don't always expect them to see). Ah well, signed, sealed, and time to hop along, greatly appreciate the cache!
