 Hints

(Looking at winter trail map) Located in the woods to the left of "Bear Trap" trail, inside the nearest u-turn of "Cinch" trail. Drop into woods from top of the u-turn. Look uphill; it should be easy to see. It’s affixed to a tree with yellow rope. When finished, continue downhill through trees to meet back up with "Cinch" trail or “Hay Meadow” trail.

Unfortunetly we couldn't find a rope on any tree here.

Five days ago we had no intention of skiing again this season but when we saw that Colorado was getting spring snow we decided to put together a last-minute trip from Chicago. Sixteen short hours of driving later, we're skiing Beaver Creek for the first time in many years. Only half of the ski area was open, but the snow was remarkably great on the parts that were.

Read ahead of time that this one needed some help so we came prepared with a suitable replacement. We stopped along Cinch Trail above GZ and could see the yellow bag 80' downhill. I had a fun little glissade, then was able to walk the rest of the way without sinking in too much. Removed the completely ripped baggie and positioned a small pill bottle under the rope. Beaver Creek is only open for five more days, hopefully someone else will look for this one before it closes. We really love to combine caching & skiing, thanks jreberry for helping us accomplish that and bringing us to this lovely spot.
Bye Bye Yellow Baggie...

Container destroyed...rope still there, but only an old torn plastic bag attached. Golf ball, half egg, log on the ground. New ziplock nearby... Signed and put back together. Hid under log below rope. Won't be accessible in the winter unless repaired... TFTC .

Watch the scratches in the summer. Shorts were a bad choice.

Very tough terrain to get down to it in summer time. Fun to get off the path (but lots of scratches now).
