Same as Cobiker...we got the solution now we have to find a day to make the grand find!!!! This one was fun, after we worked out the slight math kink we had...lol!! Thanks for the multi!

I thoroughly enjoyed the “whole entity”–yes, this whole cache sequence. It’s very nicely constructed, with decent challenges associated with each stage. It took a bit of fishing around to complete the first stage, and the second proved to be quite entertaining as well! Icezebra11 and I searched lots of possibilities at the second, until it showed itself.

My puppies Orizaba and Chimborazo? Well, they love this type of well-thought-out multi-cache because they have plenty of time at each stage to sniff around and explore the special GZ features so important to their doggie world. On this one Chimi, especially, devoted specific attention to exploring the water challenges at the beginning and on the great hike. Water challenges were “new” to him, as they were to icezebra11's Angel. Yes, each water location has fish, and a catch of an Onchorhynchus mykiss would be a particular treat to him to chew on and roll over–especially if it were a dead O. mykiss. I speculate that that’s a dog’s definition of the “pot at the end of the Rainbow”, especially if it turns out to be a whole entity (fins and all...) in a smelly stage of decay.

But everything associated with THIS cache is fresh...and nice. It was fun proceeding through the stages with a good friend. Thanks for making this possible, Noah!

Yesterday Denali41 asked if my puppy and I wanted to join him and his puppies on a little cache excursion. My puppy wagged "yes" and so we made arrangements to meet this morning to do this cache.

He had already visited the first stage but I hadn't so before meeting them at 9:30 am, my puppy and I made a stop at the river crossing to gather all the necessary info to calculate the coordinates for the second stage. I messed up two attempts at the checker before it gave me a successful check. Then we drove to our designated meeting spot. We pulled into the lot about two minutes before Denali41 so our timing was pretty darn good. Then we headed for the parking area closest to the next stage.

After a nice walk we reached the coordinates and began our search. After about 10 minutes of looking Denali41 reeled it in. We entered the new coords and set off for that location. When we got there Denali41 once again tackled the cache and came up with the container. I wasn't much help on this one.

Thanks Noah for this really nice multi, I really enjoyed all of the stages!!

Wow, this one was just a comedy of errors for a minute. Decided to go to the first stage at pretty much dusk yesterday, not expecting to continue much further than getting some cords. So as it was getting darkish as I walked up to the area, I decided to snap a few pictures to help me solve the cords later...

Turns out, I only did a half decent job of taking photos, and was left... piecing together the information I needed, making solving the puzzle MUCH more difficult than it actually is. Finally, I got some cords solved... or so I thought. Pop them in the cord check and nope. (THANK YOU FOR THE CHECKER!! IT SAVED ME!!) Bad math, led to second-guessing... and pulling hair out almost began. None of this the CO's fault of course, and it wouldn't have been as much fun without the struggle to be honest. WHAT defines a whole entity? I thought that was one..... but am I REALLY sure? What is the first number in the sequence 12345? Is it 1 or 5? I thought I knew before.... O_O

Sleep on it, check my math in the morning, see my error finally, and get sweet sweet verification on the cord checker. All of my previous concerns, of course, were meaningless in the face of the bad math. Sheesh. Made the drive to the hiking location that I haven't been up before. Really a nice place to hike, and I'm sure I'll be back... (No service in the area, and only had this caches cords loaded, so walked/drove by many of the other caches in the area... )

No spoilers, but the second stage took me WAY longer than I care to admit. There's a lot of possible hiding locations in the area, and I was concerned I was getting some signal interference. But no, the CO did an extremely excellent job with the cords for sure! How COOL!!! Cool

After all that, the fates must have decided they had enough time messing with me and allowed things to proceed fairly smoothly. Loved the final and the trackable combo! Grabbed the trackable to get it moving on its way, and left a lacky tag trackable in its place. Other than that, I left nothing other than my mark on the log. Regardless of all the self-inflicted headaches with this one - it was REALLY well put together. I love the theme, the location, the stages and cache itself. That's a great package. This was also my first opportunity to go out caching after finally returning to the Colorado area. THANK YOU for a really great cache, and a shot at first to find in such a great location. It was really a pleasure to sign that blank log!
