I managed to pick this one up on the inbound leg of what I’ll call overnight Sentinel Loop+, taking the free / hard way. I’ve never been here before, so I appreciate the nice caches along the route to serve as my motivation. Like most cachers, I came directly at this one from the nearby GC4XRJ Relaxing Rock 704 cache. At first I was unsure how to get here, follow the trail or head straight up the spur. I chose the spur and thought I might have chose incorrectly as the vegetation started to close in. Fortunately, it soon opened up and there was a nice trail, more like a highway, straight to the cache. I don’t know who NP&J is, but I was very happy to make the find. The container was on the feature listed in the hint, but in open and ready to fall onto the ground. Surprisingly, the container and log are great shape despite being exposed to the elements. I rehide on the same feature, but hopefully with a little more protection from the elements.

It was a great bonus that this one hasn’t been found for almost two years, because I keep track of lonely cache stats for challenges. With this find, I now have (counting only 1 year or more lonely) a total of 179 years, 7 months lonely time on 80 caches from 11 North American States & Provinces.

Thanks to the CO for placing this nice cache for everyone to find, TFTC.
