Well, it's not a gum tree, but it's likely just as sticky!

“One that would have the fruit must climb the tree.”
Thomas Fuller

“Thou knowest not thy own Strength for want of trying it, and upon that Account thinkest thyself really unable to do many Things which Experience would convince thee, thou hast more Ability to effect, than thou hast Will to attempt..”
Thomas Fuller

This is just down the hill from the main Santa Fe Trail from Palmer Lake to Monument.

TFTC! Oh my goodness. Not kidding on the craziness of this one. Luckily, both my kids are rock climbers, so they were able to get to it. Didn't have a pen, but I have a photo.

Had a little bit of time before meeting up with my caching partner, so stopped to do recon on this one. Had no intention of actually being able to get to it, but my goodness - what a few months of confidence building and a homemade set of etriers can do! Probably should have told someone I was doing it just in case something happened, but before I knew it, the cache was in hand! What a sense of accomplishment! I definitely wasn't brave enough to look down - that'll be for another day. Thanks for this challenge!

I didn't spot the cache until I was well on the way...fortunately I chose the right one Smile. That first step is a doozy. TFTC!

I had some time on my way back from a day of caching in Denver and decided to give this one a shot. Going for it alone probably wasn't the best decision I have ever made but I never seem to learn. I managed it without any tools but did get a little sticky and scraped in the process. This is the lowest spot on my D/T grid right now so it's nice to bump it up one. TFTC

Well, this was a bit challenging for a short person with two knee replacements...
Had an interesting trip both up and down, and was glad that I didn't come away sticky - apparently kookaburra didn't save some gum for me!! Thanks for the fun!
