Cords do bounce a little. These were the best ones.

Another jake92 DNF. Out doing maintenance on our own caches, specifically the one at the beginning of this trailhead. Had thought to set yet another cache yet beyond this one but after leaving the cachemobile had to return and dress up warmer for the wind and then forgot the geobag of tricks. Once here found 30'+ of bounce due to canyon walls and heavy cloud cover so the two of us spent well over an hour "bouncing" around with no luck. Took some pictures and will see if the CO can nail down the GZ a bit tighter and then come back and set another cache but slim chance of finding this one. Last find was in dry spring of last year and we saw recent evidence of 5' boulders having been rolled down the river bed and wondering if the high spring runoff may have washed out the cache?

Out sight seeing and decided to do a little caching while we were out. Yay we made it!!!! Fun hike and cache series. From the parking lot the GPS says it's .82 miles to this cache. I reset the trip odometer for the trip back down to the parking lot just to see how much easier the "crow" has it when he flies. 1.25 miles following the winding stream bed!!!!

Out with Beth1957 and Rxgirl75. It was a great day for a hike and Rxgirl75 made short work of it. This was the first cache that we have looked for since returning from Yuma, Az. Thanks for the nice hike and quick find. :-)
