I decided to see if I could conquer a 5/5 today and this was in the area. Made a survey first, which proved helpful. Then began the journey. And what a journey! A T-5 for sure. Am glad for all that to make the find here. #3326

Well, I’ve meant to get after this cache for a long time but never found myself in the cache vicinity. This morning my puppy Orizaba and I prioritized the cache and had a great time evaluating the options and deciding on the correct option alternative. From that point on things went fairly quickly, and eventually, I had the log sheet in hand and was signing it. I’m glad that I had appropriate TOTTs in the car so I didn’t need to make a return trip for this nifty cache.

As of this date, there are six caches in the CEGT series. This was my fifth find of them, all from the- beginning-to-the-end points. I’ve solved the coordinates for the sixth one, but must wait for the snow to melt at that elevation before making what appears to be a challenging hike to the cache location. I look forward to it!

Thanks, CEGT, for providing these interesting, challenging adventures! These are the types of caches I really appreciate. Each will remain memorable for me. They get a Favorite Point, of course.

This is at least the third time attempting to locate this elusive cache. A 5 terrain deserves some serious work. We found the lightest person and had them check the wee branches of the trees close to GZ. That didn't pan out. We remembered some other highly ranked caches recently and hypothesized about how to approach this one. With support from ScratchnSniff and Quinnster212 we thought we had a good strategy to nab this elusive cache. It worked. Amazing what collaboration can do. Great job.

The 4 of us came out here after the GIFF. Came out and looked went back to car for more supplies. Wish I had some ear muffs in my car but just had to grin and bear it. My friends had some good information where we could find this one and it panned out. Pixel magic made the grab and there was something in his hand. Walla the cache! Great job Peter! Returned everything the way it was. Thanks for the cache CEGT!

Really did not want to do what seemed like the first choice. Looked at another option but it was worse. Back to choice one and it wasn't so bad - except for getting drenched by the sprinklers - first from the South then from the North.
