This is the 9th in a new series based on nearby stars. A 2 minute stroll from the road but a tricky hide. Bring tweezers!

Gliese 876 is a red dwarf approximately 15 light-years away from Earth in the constellation of Aquarius.

It is the second-closest-known star to the Sun confirmed to possess a planetary system and the closest such system known to consist of multiple planets. As of 2011, four extrasolar planets have been found to orbit the star. Two of the middle planets are located in the system's habitable zone; however, they are giant planets believed to be analogous to Jupiter.

Easy stroll but a tricky hide. You will probably need tweezers.

Approach this one from an awkward angle while he waited in the car. Made the find but extrication and replacement of the log took awhile. Tftc

I had to pick up PayMeCache bright and early this morning as he was in the area having his work truck serviced. We knew we were going to have a few idle hours, so we decided to work some and play some.

I had jotted down some caches in the vicinity that I needed to fill in my grid based on the hid by date. This one colored in another green square on the grid. We also made this a double digit find day for me....something I haven't done in many many months so that was spectacular as well! TFTC.

Enjoying a fun caching day. We did not notice the part about bringing tweezers. We were able to get it without them but it would have been much quicker with them. Clever hide.

Parked in front of the Brinkman Contsructors gate and walked across the street. Took me a couple minutes to find it but nevertheless I was able to spot it and sign my John Hancock on the log. Nice job here.

Found GC72A8G - Gliese 876, on July 30, 2017 using Cachly for iOS.

Thank you, proteus75 for placing a fun cache for all of us to enjoy and giving back to the community. I look forward to finding more of your caches. I also look forward to potentially finding Geocaches with you one day and sharing stories of our hobby or should I say addiction? Cheers!
