Was camped at Barr Camp for a few days over the holiday, and took this day to explore a bunch of the trails nearby. Found this cache as I was just starting my adventures. Picked up the TB. Thanks for placing it!

Enjoyed a fun day of caching along Barr Trail on a beautiful Memorial Day. We owe so much to so many brave men and women who gave the ultimate sacrifice for their nation. Challenging climb to the cache, but made the find using the hint provided. Signed log. Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache.

Don't know whether to thank the CO... or reserve a good swift kick in the shin bone!! My big "return to service" meant tracking down a few of these new ones that have popped up along the Barr. I went from parking to here, straight north to that one, then finally followed the gps map to the recommended trail (!) , then successfully back down to the start & a couple more on the way.
Achilles' are a tad sore; but if I can walk up and down our stairs at home tomorrow, it probably won't be kick-worthy after all !!!

I was along with the CO when she placed this cache. It was a fun hike. She has the ability to draw every last ounce of strength out of me whenever we go hiking. Just kidding--sort of. The view was spectacular and the cache is hidden in a great spot. I can't believe the great hiking weather for March. Very little snow on the way.
Thanks for the awesome hike and cache!

Lots of energy left as we approached this one. It seemed like we walked across a flat, fairly open forested area for quite a while. I knew that we were going to eventually have to ascend some rocks and that there had to be a good view, or WingsAndTales wouldn't put in a cache. And suddenly there it was - the rocks and the view. Another excellent spot and much easier to get to than "Hugh Grant was here." Thanks for bringing us up here. My feet hurt. Favorite, of course.
