Eeyore's hidden library of science fiction and geeky books.

Park at Jefferson County Open Space driveway outside gate, do not drive through gate even if open. Walk down driveway to edge of trees where another dirt road leads to the right to a small well shack. Approach well shack.

Please leave the Eeyore figure in the cache container and re-conceal with the provided camouflage. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE seal the bag and container well.
A large container containing a dozen or so paperback and hardcover books, both fiction and non-fiction that would appeal to the type of people who dig GPSs and things. Please bring a similar book you've read and liked to exchange for one in the cache.

PLEASE NOTE: Cache contents and log were replaced 7/30/11 because they had been ruined by exposure to moisture. This is sad because a dozen hand-picked books had to go in the trash. PLEASE make sure the container and spacebag are sealed tightly when you leave.

If you don't have a book to exchange, go ahead and take something, we'll continue to stock it with great books if it gets low. Literacy For The Win!

Hadn't found a large container in a long time, so this one was fun! Neat spot for a hide! TNLNSL. Thanks for the cache!

My #2873 with David. I needed a large but didn’t realize how to access this one. It looks like Eyeore’s house. We parked behind and walked down. Hawk must live nearby. Earns favorite for placement and adventure. TFTC.

A good find on our way from Tarryall. Traveling with the SWAC crew. Caching our way to Fairplay for Burro Days, and back home. - Best Wishes, DustyRiver

I'm surprised this cache doesn't have more favorite points. It's a large cache in a beautiful location. Gets a favorite point from me!
A fun grab with the SWAC crew after we attended the Burro Days event and found Tarryall. On our way back home now. SL w/SWAC. TFTC

Found with my son. Out of the caches we found today, this was my favorite. We took turns being in "jail." The cache needed quite a bit of TLC, though. I used my camo duck tape to repair the giant crack in the side of the cache. It will eventually need to be replaced because tape can't last forever. I removed the books that had water damage and were moldering. I replaced the baggie for the log and added a bunch of swag. Should be good for a while. Dropped a TB. Favorite for the area.
