Nice peaceful spot for a picnic if you need a break from I70.
Elevation is 8059 feet, so will be snow covered in the winter. Cache is a film cannister inside of a camoed bike bottle.

Greetings from Dallas! Hubby and I are staying with daughter in Genesee while our RV is being worked on, and then we'll get back on the road again!
Beautiful drive up the mountain to look for the elk and Bison. Did a little bushwacking off the road to get to the cache. Nice hiding spot.

Steep walk down from closest legal parking. Most roads in the area are closed (although a car did go by as I walked back up, not sure where it came from but not through the green gates for sure). Found the cache where my iPhone was reading 32' but tree cover could be a factor.
