I grew up in Kansas so the picture on the sign close to this cache reminded me of the plains back home. In case you didn't know, it's the Kansas state _ _ _ _. The cache is at the drive entrance to Sherrelwood Park, but please don't park next to the cache. There are "No Parking" signs along this section, but you'll soon come up to a parking area. Park there and take a short walk back to the cache. There is no gate at the park entrance, but there is a closing time. If you go after hours, please park in the neighborhood to the west, cross the street carefully and walk to the cache.

My final cache of 2017! 2,323 caches this year. My favorite number twice in a row. The cache is still there. Perhaps a little too packed with goodies. Tftc!

A find at 9:20pm while a family of 4 watched on. Explained geocaching to them and offered a bag of food. NOTE to Self: Coyotes don't understand English and don't like Cheetos. Tried to be friendly but they weren't biting. (Oh that was a bad choice of words)
