Small cache hidden in open space.
This is second in a of a series of caches I am making near the bike path by my home. I walk my dogs on this path often and my friends gave me several interesting containers for caches during the winter. Seems like a good time to start placing the caches.

This is a small container with log book and trading items. Please try to trade even or up, especially for kids! There is a geopencil, but bring one just in case. Parking is nearby on a service road at N39° 51.474, W104° 56.247. The cache is near the bike path, so watch out for muggles! Please replace the cache using the black attachment.

This is also a great area for watching birds. You will see many ducks, song birds, cranes and sometimes the eagles from Barr Lake come down to fish. Also a great area for your dog(s) and kid(s). Use BUG SPRAY!! Lots of mosquitoes after the Spring runoff.

I’m fairly certain that this one is no longer here is there’s a ton of construction and everything looks cut down and covered over with claws sad day.

Found this cache after attending the nearby pi event (and chatting with the CO). Not as easy for us as advertised - but that was because it had lost its grip and was lying on the ground. Replaced a bit higher.

Taking advantage of a break between snow storms to try to find some caches with the Geodoodle. Despite some overcast weather and temps in the 30s, was a great day to get out - not very many people on the trail, which made for a peaceful and enjoyable day - didn't pack it in until the snow started to come down. I really enjoyed exploring along this trail - lots of interesting fowl along the way, and saw some sort of large "bird of prey" in the distance...too far away to figure out what it was. Also, one of the few cyclists I saw had a small dog in his backpack...

Found this one on the ground, but tried to securely reattach it when I retuned it. Thanks for placing the cache so we could explore the area!
