This one is accessible during winter only if the snow pack is kind of lite. In winter, by ski or board; in summer, spring, or fall via mt. bike or mt. hike. When lifts are operational, take the No. 5 lift on peak 8 and come back down the hill. The container is a moderate sized tin canister. Re-hide it as you found it. Lots of traffic on this hill, and it could get muggled.

Note: WesR confirmed as FTF

My first time skiing at Breckenridge so I had to go find a geocache to commemorate my visit. I had to do some digging for this one but I finally found it. Beautiful mountain! Tftc!

I’ve had my eye on this since I arrived. Wasn’t sure of the best place to start. I was parked fairly close to it today so decided to go for it. Nobody else up here. Enjoyed the hike. Only a little snow up here today. Quick find at 0911.

Finally found thing in the wrong spot. Dug forever in the snow one day. Put it back where it’s supposed to be and hid it right.

If the next cacher has to dig in the snow, the hint should work out. I specifically remember digging behind the rock till I hit metal, pulled metal out an still no cache. Turned out the cache was probably 3 feet from the backside of the rock under logs and rocks. This hides very well on the backside of the huge rock, touching it, covered with all the cast iron chunks laying around.

Found this as a family in May 2018! Left behind an Exodus Road bracelet. What a great first geocache experience! Took geocache coin 1295QN to a yet to be determined Colorado Springs location.

Made an attempt today while snowboarding but it snowed a bunch yesterday and the rock was completely covered. Ah well. Visiting from Nashville

Probably too much snow and too many muggles to dig properly

Last year we made a confused attempt to find the GZ from lift 5. The weather was foul and we gave up. With a more sensible approach this year we were more accurate and were thrilled to find a hefty digging device right there. It was late in the day when we started our dig and then I noticed with dismay that my telebinding had snapped. So getting down the hill became a priority. Although the descent wasn’t pretty we returned the next day and after digging half way to China, made the find. Praise the Lord. Left a travel bug we brought from Australia that wants to end up in Arizona. Thankyou Captain Rob for this fiendish hide.

Probably there was just too much snow today. Found the stone, but didn't find a cache
