Urban cache hidden near local open space
This is part of a series of caches I am making near the bike path by my home. I walk my dogs on this path often and my friends gave me several interesting containers for caches during the winter. Seems like a good time to start placing the caches.

We turned a frown into a smile today. I'm embarrassed after finding it to know I missed it the first time. TFTC. With BadGator.

Friday night cache flight! After work I headed north to complete a Whereigo and grab as many caches as possible. I didn't grab as many as I hoped, but ended up with 19 for the day. I replaced a few caches that were missing or damaged. During my adventure I walked through prairie dog fields, saw a hawk, horse and cow, scared a mouse that then scared me, and pet a French bulldog/Boston Terrier mix. Unfortunate fuel provided by McDonalds. Music by Blue October. Pretty successful night.
This was my first cache after the event earlier today. I saw a horse nearby, but wasn't brave enough to pet it even though it acted like it wanted attention. First signature on the log. TFTC!

Assuming this is it, however no log found. It'd be an amazing coincidence if not.

A quick grab while in the area. It was again on the ground and missing the log. I put it back in a way that will hopefully keep it from falling off so easily. Thank you for the placement

Kind of a "duh" moment when we found it, after over-looking it a couple of times. TFTC!

With decent weather, I felt a great need to go out for some caching. The map revealed a few along the South Platte River Trail that I had not previously found so that looked like a good destination. This was the last cache for the day. There were some unique items to explore here. I was happy to finally spot the right one. Thanks for the placement, Mondo!

Taking advantage of a break between snow storms to try to find some caches with the Geodoodle. Despite some overcast weather and temps in the 30s, was a great day to get out - not very many people on the trail, which made for a peaceful and enjoyable day - didn't pack it in until the snow started to come down. I really enjoyed exploring along this trail - lots of interesting fowl along the way, and saw some sort of large "bird of prey" in the distance...too far away to figure out what it was. Also, one of the few cyclists I saw had a small dog in his backpack...

Took a detour from caching along the South Platte to get this one. Nice hide! Geodoodle wanted to chase a nearby squirrel while I was signing the log. Thanks for placing the cache so we could explore the area!

Found at 12:30 p.m., find no. 629.
