This cache is hidden a bit off segment 1 of the Colorado Trail about 3 miles from the parking/trailhead waypoint.  This is another in a series of caches that are all along trails in open space areas west and southwest of Denver.

I have been up this trail from the parking coordinates a number of times and in fact have several other caches hidden on the way to this one.  There are some great views once you get to the top. And the top is about 1000 feet above the parking area. You can get most of the way with a mountain bike (which is how I got there).

Unlike some of the other caches in this series, there are no clues to retrieve or puzzles to solve to find this or any other cache.

Out for a hike with my brother. We hiked 6.75 mi R/T as we looked at the plants & geocached. This one is in great shape. I'm glad to find one to mark the occasion with a smiley!

Yay! I left home way too late to get to Lenny’s Rest & back to seg2 TH before dark. I was seriously considering doing it anyway & headlamping it back... but then I would be short a smiley here. So turned around a bit after the high point & scrambled up to find this. TFTC :-)
