Another new hide in a tranquil little know section of the Upper Beaver Brook Watershed.  Come prepared for hiking in a National Forest, traction devices or snow shoes are recommended during the Winter.  The trail can be faint, so make sure to check the waypoint and please make sure to mark your car or use the other GC's in the area as bread crumbs.  You are searching for a log only oversized bison tube.  Happy Hunting and BYOP!

I mashed along the snowy path to this cache. Sometimes my foot sank in to the ankle, but mostly I stayed on top of the hard pack. Once at the GZ it took me a bit to locate the well placed container. Cool container, too!
Today I was sitting at work when I saw a bunch of caches publish. One in particular pulled on my geocaching addict string - a puzzle in the mountains. After solving it, I waited on baited breath, hoping that it would still be available after 3:00 pm. Fast forward to that time (just like Marty in Back to the Future, but instead Forward to the Future) and I'm in the Jeep heading west. It's only an hour drive and the weather is beautiful. Definitely time for a hike. By the end of the day I collected several finds and the FTF on the cache I was after. During my journey I saw crows and a hawk, but no other animals (including humans).
