Our second cache in what is going to be a series, this location is along the Pioneer Trail, a 5.5 paved and (in Elk Meadows Open Space) dirt bike path connecting Bergen Park to Evergreen Lake. This trail is a fantastic way to explore the area, and connects three Denver Mountain Parks: Filius Park (located approximately 0.5 miles north of the northern terminus of this trail), Bergen Park, and Dedisse. If you're up for tackling a bike ride along this trail, there are over a dozen geocaches within a short distance of the trail just waiting to be found! Just make sure you have plenty of air!! BYOP

Yay I found it! I was in the hood doing a little shopping and decided to go for a walk, it’s another spring like afternoon in Evergreen! I quickly made the find, and logged COHodag in the pole position with us coming in second place, thanks Porg Clan for the new hide! TFTC

It appears the lid to unscrew the container to access the log sheet was frozen from us cleaning the container prior to placing at GZ. Rechecked this morning and lid should be able to be unscrewed now.
