We are on our way back to our son's house in Colorado Springs, after visiting friends and relatives in Cheyenne and Pine Bluffs, and then on to home in AZ. It took longer than it should have to find this container even though the coordinates will get you right to it! The "natural camo growth" has really taken over and covers the container quite nicely. We do give this cache an awesome WOOHOO as it has the honor of being our 10000 find. SL. TFTC.

Greetings from the UK. We are on our holidays!!!
Day 1: The start of our 12 day road trip around Colorado, Utah and Wyoming (a geocaching road trip from Denver to Yellowstone and back again) began with an upgrade to business on our 9hr flight ? from London, which is always nice. Found our AirBnB . Without any trouble and nipped out to find a cache to get us up and running.
Day 2: Set of this morning, to cache and around Denver, quick stop for a proper American breakfast at the Denver Biscuit company, in Atomic Shack. We discovered that the best way to get around was by car , so ended up doing more cache and dashes than planned and managed to pick up a parking violation (1/3) – missed the street cleaning sign!! And a little later Diz dropped her camera and broke it (2/3). However, after lunch as the weather was gorgeous we decided to leave the city any we missed could be picked up at the end of our road trip, and head out to the Mount Evans scenic route. This was great fun, stopped off in Idaho Springs – fabulous Waterfall here, and a very helpful information centre lady , talked us through the scenic route, and then we cache and dashed along the scenic highway, still snow ?on some of the higher ground. Saw a fox , who got a little too close for comfort and also took a short walk to see the Bison. Ended the day with a trip to a TB hotel, in Downtown, to drop off a couple of TBs from the UK and collect a few to take with us on our trip. The 3rd mishap of the day, led us getting Diz’s meal for free at a restaurant as they managed to mess up her pizza order . C’est la vie. We had a great time overall and found 21 caches today.
Day 3: Today we decided to take a slow drive out of Denver, collecting a few caches
on the way as we headed to Colorado Springs. Breakfasted at the Delectable Egg, staged via Walmart to buy Diz a replacement camera and took the slow road out. Weather still lovely . Had fun collecting a few chosen caches, that will help us meet other challenge caches, including a 5/5 and a TB hotel. Made a snap decision as we entered Colorado Springs to head out to collect some virtuals and earthcaches , which meant we discovered the amazing Garden of the Gods – very helpful man ??? in the Trading post too, and the pretty town of Manitou Springs. We then decided to head West to collect a few more challenge caches, and then headed to our Air BnB . Set out for dinner at Alchemy, a Gastro Pub on their recommendation – which was inspired, as the had star wars day specials and the waitress was in costume , great Mac n Cheese and Boba Fett and the thermal detonators – also staged via the amazing Memorial park for a few more virtuals and ended on a traditional in the carpark neat the pub.

QEF - nice view of the Mountain from here.
TFTC and May the ‘for?th’ be with you!!

The road was really busy, which is too bad since these prairies deserve some peace for being so wonderful. Thanks for having a cache here to mark the way to the wonderful open space. We finished our hike just in time for some soft rain to fall = whew!
