Tamarind fruit grows on tropical treess. The hard green pulp of a young fruit is very sour and acidic and is often used as a component of savory dishes. The ripened fruit is less sour and somewhat sweeter. It is used in desserts and sweetened drinks, or as a snack.

It has been a while since we found it the first time, but we found it again and it was a little gross, but that is unavoidable.

Fun! It was surprising to see that it was a little deeper in the weeds. (Hint hint)

Out for a couple of hours on a nice afternoon for a few caches. A short drive to the area. After a short hike, checked around a bit as the GPSr was bouncing but then spotted it. Nice hide. SL. TFTC
