great area with a great view from the top
Parking Suggestion is at N 39 DEG. 09.010 W 105 DEG. 06.635
YOU CAN APPROACH FROM EITHER THE 350B TRAIL NEAR THE ROAD END OF THE PARKING AREA OR TAKE THE MORE SCENIC, MORE ADVENTUROUS ROUTE VIA THE END OF THE PARKING AREA . If you go that way make sure you do the “rustybeercan” Petroglyphs of Rainbow Falls multi-cache. That’s one cool cache and well worth the effort

12:20 PM Having completed our 64th Colorado county on 8/5, my wife and I are enjoying our customary 2 week stay in Divide. (I never get tired of mentioning the Colorado 64 challenge, since it it was 10 years in the making.)

Today we are hiking and caching near Rainbow Falls road.

Wow. Almost 2 years since last found. Really relieved to spot it. Not where I was expecting. Good coords.

I signed the log. Thanks, pudentane, for the cache.

We made this one harder than it should have been. After reading about signal bounce we wandered all over when it was actually right were the GPS said it should be.

Opened up the 4-Wheel-Drive Trails book and selected the Rainbow Falls 8-mile trail to get my Jeep out on. Might as well bring some company and do some geocaching, too! Could not have asked for a better day to enjoy what I love about Colorado. TFTC! --Deadmoney

For a Halloween treat we took the ATV back up to this area for a ride. Because we were 2 up on a ranch style machine we decided to stay off the narrow, steep trails and take this FS road instead. Thanks for adding to the trip with this cache. I don't know if we came at this one from where we were supposed to because my GPS showed the road connected, but it was blocked off where we parked the ATV. It was a nice walk but you could tell it had been a while since this had been driven on. When I saw it was a micro with no hint I was worried we wouldn't find it as we were loosing daylight-the sun set while we were up on this ridge-beautiful! But I spotted something of an unnatural color & found it.

Interesting area. WingsAndTales and I came up to do the Petroglyphs cache. Great spot for a cache. It took us a bit to find it because of the signal bounce in the area, but we finally spotted it on the ground. It's in a more secure spot now. TFTC.

We visited this while working on the Petroglyphs multi. It was in the open but in good shape. We covered it a bit better to keep it from wandering away. TFTC

I didn't realize that this was an old pudentane cache. That was a pleasant surprise! TFTC.
