Cache is not at coordinates. At the coordinates you will have to look for the numbers as to where the cache is located. The librarians know what you are doing, but no one else will. Cache can only be accessed during business hours. 10am to 6pm Monday-Friday.

The building was originally the Burlington Record and the Library was where City Hall is now. In 1995 the Burlington Record donated the building to the library and the city held a bookworm for the block and a half to get all the books from the old building into the new one. Minor renovations were done, but the building has some oddities for a library. First, the circulation desk is oddly located. It used to simply be the receptionist desk for the newspaper, so it was right where people could find it when they walked in. A reference desk in a library should be more centrally located. Next, there are two seperate types of carpet laid down. The difference is obvious with one carpet being multi-hued and the other being bright green. The green carpet was laid when that part of the building was taken from storage into being a part of the library. Finally, the concrete underneath the carpet is about six feet thick. This was needed to hold the giant printing presses held within the Record offices, but it is out of place in a library.

Fun last day in Kansas. We (@WindAtMyBack and @intrepiidexplorer ) came out to Hays to grab the amazing gadget caches and others before fulfilling my promise to show up for Benj59's CITO event at Sunflower Mountain. We fueled up with Starbucks and headed out. During our journey west we stopped at several rest stops and grabbed targeted caches. We were lucky enough to meet one of the CO's at her cache and then see her again at the CITO. Great to make new friends. Our journey was more of a loop, as we doubled back to Goodland to finish our work there. Scraped my head pretty good on something near a cache. Thanks to all for the great time. Only 2 DNFs, which were obviously missing, so we replaced them.
Needed a little help on this one. Apparently a little dirt has been added and has covered the clue. Got the info and made the find.
Tftc!

DNFed this one today.
I spent at least 5 minutes at "GZ", looking for coordinates, and no dice. Skimming previous finders' logs after the fact, it seems that a number of them have reported that the coordinates are off. This should be fixed.

Day 2 of our Mingo trip. Now we are on the way back to Colorado. Grabbing the last few caches in Kansas. Stopping to ride the carousel in Burlington and then home. This was fun. Always love a good library cache.

Some may say we are crazy, but this game/hobby is one of the greatest gifts. Who doesn’t love a great scavenger hunt. Hiking, biking or driving hundreds of miles to sign our name on a piece of paper. This brings us a lifetime of joy.

Thanks for placing this cache and keeping our recreation going. SL/with PoshCacher/MagicCacher.Tftc

Nice hide! :) I grabbed this one today to keep my daily streak alive. Very well done! I love library hides. Gets a favorite point from me. I left one of my pathtags for the next finder. TFTH

On a road trip with fellow geocacher Budabeli with plans to attend the MOGA Event in Lincoln Nebraska. We are making caching stops along our route. We had fun finding your cache and getting an opportunity to stretch our legs. Tom

Visiting Colorado with daughter LizardSally and Muggle Jane. The coords were said to be off and we searched the outside of the library but found nothing, in the end LizardSally went into the library and spoke to the cache owner who helped us locate the final part of the cache. Nice to be in the warmth of the library for even a short while. Good cache though.
