This cache isn't too far off one of John Martin Reservoir's roads. This cache just involves a small amount of bushwacking.
This geocache is part of a 6 cache course in John Martin Reservoir State Park. This course was implemented as part of Ben Ludwig's Eagle Scout project on March 2, 2013. Ben Ludwig is a Boy Scout hailing from Lamar, Colorado and is happy to donate the course to JMR in order to increase visitors to the park.

Camping at JMR Campground, I was curious to find out what a tamarisk forest was. We walked around the lake this morning picking up litter, so knew the area when we returned to locate the cache. Found and in dry condition. Thanks.
