Or “burn out.” 

Or a dog's name.
I think maybe “binary output” could be it. 
It could just be “bowled over."
Or is it “body odor?” Yuk.

FTF today at 11:00 am!

I started looking at this puzzle the night it came out but had to Break Off. I went down so many wrong paths (Botched Operations) that I lost count. Was this a Bad Omen? Barack Obama couldn’t help me here. Neither could the Buck Opposition in the Background Optic. I felt like directing some temper by playing Black Ops or Blood Omen or listening to some Blue October at high volume through my Bang and Olafsens. I knew I had to Back Off for a while but couldn’t get BO and CB and FQ out of my head — Brain Overload!

I slept on it and had a Bedazzling Observation at 4am. Later in the morning I chased that down to no avail. Big O. Bucked Off again. So I sat and stared at the puzzle some more. Getting stir-crazy…. Then something came to mind that fit all the clues and with one more Google search, I had the answer! Blindingly Obvious! Turns out I had already landed on the right answer for one of the clues… just thought it was a Bad Option and didn’t take it far enough.

When I found success in the checker, I activated my Battery Operated GPS device and was on my way! Beautiful Obfuscation at GZ! Adding a favorite, TFTC!
