This cache is located by Olney Springs, Colorado.  Not a lot around this area but we sure can make it a nice spot for geocachers.  This is one of many planned caches to hopefully get a nice power trail going in the area.

As always, with this type of desert terrain, be watchful and cautious for things that poke, sting and bite.  And remember, a good cacher always practices CITO if needed!  Thanks for visiting our neck of the woods and happy caching.

Kausia Hat - This was an ancient Macedonian flat hat.  It was worn during the Hellenistic Period but perhaps even before the time of Alexander the Great and was later used as a protection against the sun by the poorer classes in Rome.

Going to try to power through as many of these in this town as we can today. We hate to copy and paste log but I'm going to have to we are running out of time.

Its been a long hot summer in Texas, I've been trying to get out and do a caching trip a couple of times this summer, but it never worked out. Finally managed to get a week off, and am so happy to be out here in Colorado.
